Decisions on primary school places for September 2012 have now been completed. Closing date for accepting or declining the school place offered is 14 May 2012.

If you decide to decline the place, please provide us with details about your arrangements for September 2012.
Please Note: Offers not accepted or declined by the deadline may be withdrawn and reallocated.

Waiting Lists
If you have been unsuccessful for your preferred school you may request to be included on the waiting list To be included on a school’s waiting list you must inform us in writing (including e-mail) by 14 May 2012 to avoid disadvantage. After 14 May 2012 we will prepare waiting lists so that we can reallocate any places that are declined. Waiting lists will be held in criteria order and not on a first come first served basis. Please note: For Community and Voluntary Controlled schools, waiting lists will only be held until the end of the autumn term 2012. Other schools may vary.
Legal Right of Appeal
You have a legal right of appeal to an independent panel if you have been unsuccessful with a school preference. If you choose to appeal for a place at more than one school, separate appeal forms must be completed. Appeal application forms for Community and Voluntary Controlled schools are available on our website and must be returned by 14 May 2012. For Academies and Voluntary Aided and Foundation Schools you will need to contact the school to request a form. If you have been unsuccessful with your application for a place at a school in another local authority, you will need to contact that authority to be included on a waiting list or to request an appeal application form. Please note that deadlines may vary
